Roosevelt is 30 minutes southwest of Vernal on the northwest side of town on UT 191.

The course is owned and operated by the City of Roosevelt and climbs over a tract of land overlooking the city with the Uinta Mountains and King's Peak in full view. The layout is parkland style along fairway corridors defined by trees leading to modest greens guarded by sand bunkers. The backside features an impressive change in elevation on several holes including a stunning par three island hole with an elevation change of 100 feet from tee to green. It can play to 7,034 yards from the black tees, 72.0/121, slope/course ratings with four shorter tees, original nine holes designed by Joe Williams in 1974 with the second nine by Gordie Harmston in 1994.
