Round Grove is 25 minutes from Charles City and less than 45 minutes from both Mason City and the Waterloo/Cedar Falls areas on the north side of Greene bordering the Shell Rock River.

The golf course is a 9 hole layout, reasonably open and straightforward with a variety of challenges including green-side bunkers, in-course OB along a dog-leg, fairway tree lines, and a large pond interfering on two holes. It's 3,045 yards from the tips, 34.8/112, course/slope ratings.
