The Round Mountain Golf Club is a challenging, 9 hole layout in Round Mountain between Tonopah and Austin, and is said to be the longest 9 hole layout in Nevada when playing from the tips.
The course is on the east side of a residential community in town with the fairways bordered by the high desert terrain. It's generally wide open off the tee with scattered trees along the fairways and three water hazards in play in a setting providing views over the Toiyabe Range to the west and the Toquima Range to the east. It was designed by William Neff in the early 1990s and is 3,680 yards from the tips with five shorter tees.
