Royal Kunia is 30 minutes from Waikiki Beach off the H1 at Waipahu to the north.

The course cruises over the high Ewa plains with views of the entire south shore of Oahu, Pearl Harbor, the Ko’olau and Waianae mountain ranges, the city of Honolulu, and Diamond Head. It's a parkland style layout over rolling fairways lined by palm trees with water in play on eight holes and over 100 sand bunkers. It was designed by Robin Nelson in 1994 and is 7,007 yards from the tips, 73.5/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
