Royal Manchester is 20 minutes north of York on river bottom land in Mt. Wolf on the Susquehanna River.

The layout is a true links design along rolling and mounded, fescue lined fairways with an abundance of sand bunkers in the fairways and bordering the large, greens which are open and accommodating in the front. From the championship blue tees it's 6,962 yards, 73.7/127, course/slope ratings with three other tees as short as 5,078 yards, designed by Tim Freeland.
