Royal Oaks is on the southwest side of Lebanon off US 422 to the south.

The golf course is a parkland layout with scattered trees lining the fairways, streams or lakes on 6 holes, and a moderate amount of sand along the fairways and guarding the greens. The layout has a variety of holes requiring course management rather than distance, and treks over a scenic setting surrounded by rolling farmland. It plays to 6,521 yards from the back tees, 71.3/118 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Ron Forse.
