The Salida Golf Club is on the northwest side of Salida south of the Arkansas River on Creston Ave.

The golf course is a nine hole, parkland layout with scattered trees lining the fairways over level terrain in a scenic setting surrounded by the Rockies. It's a straightforward routing with a modest amount of sand in play but water hazards on eight of the holes. The course is a classic designed by Emmitt Killian in the mid 1920s, and hasn't changed much since! The narrow fairways, water features, and modest greens contribute to a challenging round at 3,111 yards from the tips, 34.7/121, course/slope ratings.
