San Saba River Golf Course is on the east side of town off US 190 to the north on the south bank of the San Saba River.

The golf course meanders through a grove of pecan trees navigating narrow fairways and approaches to the modest greens. There are water hazards in play on half the holes and a few OBs to contend with, but no sand bunkers. It will play to 6,904 yards, 72.5/119, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees.
