The Sandy Pines GC is midway between Chicago and Lafayette off I-65 at exit 230 to the east in De Motte.

The golf course is a NW Indiana gem located within a residential community with most of the homes blocked by old growth, hardwood trees. The layout flows over undulating terrain along generally broad fairways with several water features in play, but an abundance and variety of pot, conventional, and sandy waste area sand bunkers. It will play to 6,729 yards, 73.4/136, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, originally a William Spear design redesigned by Tim Nugent.
