Sapelo Hammock is midway between Brunswick and Savannah 10 minutes off I-95 to the east in Shellman Bluff.

The golf course is part of a residential development along the Sapelo River and marshes of coastal Georgia. It's a relatively narrow layout carved through corridors of Spanish moss, draped woods with a blend of long and short par 4s, three shot par 5s, and a couple of stout par 3s. There's five sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,887 yards with course rating/slope ratings of 72.9/134, designed by Rusty Simmons.
