Scotch Pines is 1 1/2 hours north of Boise off I-84 at Ontario then on to Payette wrapping around the municipal airport.

The routing has mostly tree lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain with small to mid-sized greens, a moderate amount of sand bunkers, and one water hazard. The course plays to a par 72, 6,605 yards, 70.1/116 ratings from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by William S. Massingill in the 1960s.
