The Sedalia Country Club is midway between Kansas City and Jefferson City on the west side of Sedalia.

The golf course is a classic, parkland style layout meandering through a residential development along narrow, tree lined fairways. It's an exercise in course management both off the tee and on approach to the greens with multiple ponds and streams affecting play and sand bunkers defending the fairways' landing zones and greens. It's short at 6,194 yards yards from the back tees, 70.1/128, course/slope ratings, the white tees play to 5,823 yards, 68.8/125 with a par of 70.
