Settlers Bay is part of a residential real estate development about an hour north of Anchorage.

The course ambles over rolling land through birch tree lined fairways with a modest amount of sand traps along the fairways and defending the greens in a scenic setting providing views of nearby Pioneer Peak, the Knik Arm, and the Mat-Su Valley. It plays from 6,450 yards, par 71, 70.3/127, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Ted Locke.
