Shining Rock is southeast of Worcester and the Mass Pike between I-495 and MA 146 in Northbridge.

The golf course is within a residential development over hilly and forested land in the Blackstone Valley. There's several forced carries over natural areas as it moves along tree lined fairways and over ravines with multiple sand traps positioned along the fairways and guarding the sides of the greens. It was designed by Patrick Sullivan and from the back tees is 6,709 yards, 72.9/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
