Shoshone is a mountain 9 hole golf course just off I-90 at Big Creek Road about an hour east of Coeur d'Alene.

The course roams over hilly land in the middle of Gold Run Mountain in Silver Valley. All nine holes are named after old mining claims in the area except the par 5 sixth hole, which was named after one of the more popular "ladies" in town during that era. The course was designed by Keith Hellstrom and is 3,176 yards from the back tees, 34.7/119, course/slope ratings.
