Sky Ranch is located 2 hours northeast of Denver on the way to Nebraska off I-76.

The golf course is a classic layout which moves through the South Platte Valley over rolling hills and along tree lined fairways with water hazards coming into play on nine of the holes. It originally opened in 1916 with later design work by Henry Hughes, and plays to 6,436 yards from the tips, 69.8/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees. The clubhouse is situated on the highest point on the property with an outdoor patio for a late afternoon beverage after the round.
