Sleepy Hollow is in the south suburbs of Cleveland near Brecksville off I-77 at Royalton Road to the east in the Brecksville Reservation of Cleveland's Metroparks.

The layout is a classic parkland design traversing the tree-lined fairways of the Cuyahoga River Valley over rolling terrain. There are forced carries over ravines, streams, ponds, and wetlands, in addition to 58 sand bunkers and generally minuscule greens tucked into coves of old-growth hardwood trees. It plays to 6,754 yards from the back tees, 73.3/133 course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees. It was designed by Stanley Thompson in 1925.
