Soldier Hollow is located near Midway south of Park City and 25 miles northeast of Provo and part of the Wasatch Mountain State Park system with two 18 hole, championship courses.

Both layouts are similar in design features and located in a picturesque, setting with views out over the valley in the Heber area and to Mount Timpanogos. The courses have a wide open, linksy feel to them as the fairways are bordered by tall native grasses over natural mounding and contours. There's an abundance of sand bunkers along the fairways and guarding the greens, but the majority of the greens are open in the front encouraging the bump and run shot. The greens are mid-sized to large with confounding breaks and tend to be quick. The Silver Course to the East is a parkland/meadowland layout with large expanses of native grassland separating the holes. It plays to 7,355 yards, 74.2/142 from the tips. The Gold Course climbs up the mountainside with most of the holes carved out of the scrub oak and trees on the steeper slope with an impressive amount of elevation changes from tee to green. It plays to 7,719 yards, 75.7/137, course/slope ratings from the back tees, both designed by Gene Bates and both with four shorter sets of tees.
