Souhegan Woods is 20 minutes northwest of Nashua in Amherst off County Road in a residential development.

The layout is a scenic and thoughtful, parkland design winding through a pine tree forest along narrow fairways and approaches. There's numerous fairways with OB bordering the homesites, and significant sand bunkering along the fairway's landing areas and guarding the greens. The greens are moderate in size with tiers and swales, and are usually quick. It's 6,507 yards from the Blue tees with a 125 slope, and 6,142 yards from the White tees, 68.8/120, designed by Phil Friel in the early 1990s.
