South Hills CC is on the south side of Jamestown, in a scenic country setting on Busti-Stillwater Road east of Forest Avenue.

The layout is parkland style design over rolling topography with a few confining, tree-lined fairways but is mostly open off the tee. It's generally straightforward save for a couple of dramatic doglegs with several ponds and streams but little in the way of sand. There are three tees from 4,900 yards to 6,240 yards at the back tees, with 70.5/121 course/slope ratings.
