Spring Valley is in Livermore 2 hours from Des Moines off I-35 at exit 170 then wind your way west to Livermore.

The course is well landscaped, parkland layout surrounded by farms and known for its abundance of flower beds and shrubs scattered about the golf course. The fairways are lined by large trees with numerous streams, ponds, and sand bunkers along the landing zones and guarding the quick and undulating greens. The course is a true hidden gem which started out as a 9 holer in the 1970s designed by Bob Patruka with the second nine added in 1990 by Gerald Berte. From the tips it can play to 6,327 yards, 70.2/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
