Springbrook is on the north side of Athens on the Lee Highway in Niota off I-75 at exit 56 to the east.

The layout is a straightforward, parkland design with the fairways defined by trees and moving over rolling hills. In terms of hazards, Moose Creek traverses the southern third of the course and sand bunkers are primarily positioned around the greens. The course plays to 6,395 yards from the tips, 71.1/124, course/slope ratings, the white tees play to 6,180 yards, 70.1/122 with two shorter tees.
