St. James Bay is a real estate and resort development south of Tallahassee, near Apalachicola, on the Gulf of Mexico.

The golf course has a challenging layout with narrow landing areas, where course management and club selection are at a premium. It's an Audubon International Designated Sanctuary through natural mitigation areas, with lakes and hazards on most of the holes and well-bunked throughout. It was designed by Robert Walker in 2003 and plays to 6,730 from the back tees, 72.9/142 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
