St Maries GC is about an hour southeast of Coeur d'Alene on the south end of the Coeur d'Alene chain of lakes just off Rt. 3 on the east side of St. Maries.

It's a 9-hole golf course ambling over an open tract of land carved out of the forests in a scenic setting. There are a few ponds and sand traps scattered about, with a blend of mostly open fairways along with several narrow, tree-lined corridors. It's short at 2,665 yards, 33.8/112, course/slope ratings, and a par of 35.
