Stone Creek is south of Sherman bordering US 75 on the west side about 45 minutes north of Dallas.

The layout has an appreciable variety of isolated and unique holes either through open prairie land or bordering oak trees and an old pecan tree orchard. There's a dramatic change in elevation over a ridge into a valley along sloping fairways with a host of blind shots, uneven lies, ponds and streams, and an abundance of sand bunkers. It's a Cal Olson layout which opened in 2009 with four sets of tees from 5,655 yards to 7,428 yards, 76.1/138, course/slope ratings at the tips.
