Stone Mountain is northeast of Atlanta off the Stone Mountain Freeway with two 18 hole, championship courses in the shadow of Stone Mountain.

The Lakemont Course's front nine meanders around Stone Mountain Lake with the big rock as a background and five holes where water is in play. The back nine is away from the lake on the inside of the park along tree lined, rolling and mounded fairways with water hazards on three holes. It was designed by John LaFoy and from the blue tees is 6,444 yards, 71.5/134 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.

Stonemont is shot maker's, parkland layout with sand bunkers along the narrow, tree lined fairways leading to pinched approaches to the modest greens well defended by fingered sand bunkers. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and plays to 6,863 yards, 73.7/132, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
