Stoney Ridge GC is on the east side of Childress where US 287 and FM 2530 meet about two hours west of Wichita Falls and 2 hours east of Amarillo.

The golf course provides a mix of parkland and links elements as it journeys over broad, slightly rolling fairways bordered by tall prairie grasses. There's numerous water/wetlands in play and a sprinkling of sand bunkers with generous greens which are open in front to encourage the bump n' run shot under the wind which is usually in play. The course can play to 6,761 yards, 73.6/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees.
