Sugar Ridge is northwest of Cincinnati off I-275 on the Indiana/Ohio border off State Line Road.

The golf course marches over a large, natural tract of rolling terrain along a blend of narrow and broad, tree-lined fairways. There's a constant variety of holes, with numerous doglegs, ponds, and wetlands requiring forced carries yet a modest amount of sand bunkers. From the back tees, it's only 6,106 yards, 68.9/123, course/slope ratings, and two shorter tes, with design work by Brian Huntley and Mike Macke.
