Sugarloaf is 9 miles west of the Hazleton Mall exit off I-81 in Sugarloaf.

The golf course is a parkland layout set in a valley surrounded by fields and forests with the mountains as a backdrop. The rolling, broad fairways are bordered by scattered stands of trees with sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. From the tips it's 6,952 yards, 73.0/122, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
