The Summerland Golf Course is on the southeast side of Ewing, surrounded by the farmland and fields of the Elkhorn River Valley.

The golf course is a nine-hole layout traversing broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways over undulating terrain. It sparingly uses sand bunkers and doglegs on every hole save the par 3s. It was designed by Martin Johnson, Jr., in 1992. It will play to 3,063 yards, 34.1/107 course/slope ratings off the back tees.
