Sunny Hills Golf Club is located 45 minutes north of Panama City and 12 miles south of Interstate 10 in Chipley in a sparsely developed area.

The layout was developed as part of a residential development which never materialized. The routing is through a pine forest and sand barrens along unique, isolated fairway corridors with natural borders. There's a total of four sets of tees, the tips play to 7,095 yards, 73.4/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Gene Sarazen and Ken Venturi in the early 1970s.
