Sunset Hills is south of Peoria on the southeast side of Pekin, off Court Street, within an established residential community.

The layout traverses a mix of hilly and flat terrain as it moves along fairways through the community, while others are isolated and lined by trees. Numerous ponds and a stream are in play, sand bunkers along the landing areas guard the greens, and several slight doglegs. Four sets of tees, with the tips playing to 6,649 yards, 71.9/129, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Monge.
