Sunset Hills is south of Peoria on the southeast side of Pekin off Court Street within an established, residential community.

The layout traverses over a mix of hilly and flat, terrain as it moves along fairways through the community while others are isolated and lined by trees. There's numerous ponds and a stream in play, sand bunkers along the landing areas and guarding the greens, and several slight doglegs. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,649 yards, 71.9/129, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Monge.
