Swainsboro Golf Club is halfway between Macon and Savannah off I-16 on US 1 to the north about 20 minutes.
The slightly rolling fairways are pine tree lined with several ponds/wetlands and a moderate amount of sand bunkers mostly defending the modest greens. From the back tees the course plays to 6,563 yards, with 71.4/129, course/slope ratings and three shorter tees, designed by Arthur David in the mid-1940s.
