Swan Point is in southern Maryland on the Potomac, 60 miles south of DC in Issue.

The golf course is a vintage Southern Maryland layout with a Carolina-style feel as it journeys along level, pine tree-lined, isolated fairways. There are 12 holes bordering ponds, wetlands, and lakes, producing numerous forced carries with sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. The course was designed by Bob Cupp in 1988, and from the back tees it's 6,859 yards, 73.1/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
