Sweetbriar is on the west side of Cleveland in Avon Lake at Krebs and Jaycox Roads just off I-90/Rt 2 with two 18 hole layouts, the Sweetbriar and the Legacy.

Sweetbriar is a parkland design along tree lined fairways with a few lakes and streams over mostly level terrain. It's generally more playable at 6,006 yards from the blue tees, 68.1/113, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Ron Palmer. The Legacy is 30% more costly and 600 yards longer and obviously the more challenging layout. It opens with a linksy front side while the back nine traverses narrow, tree lined fairways bordering numerous water hazards and wetlands. It's 6,634 yards from the tips, 71.4/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Don Childs
