Sweetgrass is part of the Island Resort and Casino in Harris just west of Escanaba in the UP.

The layout provides an interesting collection of unique links-style holes running through the hills and dunes along fescue lined fairways with water features on half the holes including an island green. The 12th hole is a par 3 with a biarritz green, which essentially has a gully running through it and can create some unusual putting strategies. The 7th is a classic Redan, a wide, but shallow green that slopes away from the tee. It's a par 72, 7,275 yards from the tips, 75.2/143, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Paul Albanese and is owned and operated by the Hannahville Band of the Potawatomi Nation.
