The Tagalong Golf Resort is 30 miles south of Hayward on the east side of Red Cedar Lake in Birchwood.

The golf course wanders over slightly rolling contours in a clearing in the deep woods along the Lake. The broad fairways are marked by stands of trees and dotted with water features with sand and grass bunkers defending the slightly elevated, generous greens. It can play to 6,386 yards, 70.8/118, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Frank Trout.
