Terrace Lakes is a little over an hour north of Boise in the Garden Valley area, winding through a forested area of a residential community.

It's a parkland layout along tree-lined fairways set over rolling hills in the Boise National Forest. The course is very scenic, with an open front nine along parallel fairways. The backside is carved through the trees, with an assortment of creeks and ponds in play. The course was designed by Edward Hunnicutt and is only 5,930 yards from the tips, with 69.3/127 course/slope ratings and two shorter tees.
