Terrapin Hills is just off I-59 at exit 224 to the east in Fort Payne and is a private club yet open to public play to out of town guests.

The layout is over undulating fairways defined by old growth hardwoods and pine trees with numerous slight and dramatic doglegs. Big Wills Creek slices through the course from north to south in addition to several ponds, and sand traps are positioned along the fairways and securing the modest greens. The golf course will play to 6,432 yards, 71.0/128, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Harold Williams.
