The Texas A&M University Golf Course is on the northeast side of campus adjoining the Polo Fields at Texas Ave and George Bush Drive.

The layout is a roomy, parkland/links design over slightly undulating fairways with numerous lakes, ponds, and streams impacting play. The golf course is littered with a variety of pot and conventional sand bunkers defending the fairways and the large, slightly elevated and contoured greens. It can play as long as 7,008 yards from the tips, 73.8/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, a redesign by Jeff Blume from an original Ralph Plummer/Jackie Burke layout from the 1950s.
