The Bluffs is in Vermillion northwest of Sioux City off I-29 at exit Rt 50 partially bordering a residential development.

The routing is along a "bluff" over the Vermillion and Missouri Rivers. It's an interesting layout with open links style features but scattered trees at the borders along numerous water hazards and a moderate amount of sand traps mostly greenside. From the tips it's 6,684 yards, 72.5/128, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Patrick Wyss in the mid-1990s.
