The Golf Club at Bear Dance is situated on a 750 acre tract of land at 6,800 feet above sea level between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs just off I-25 at exit 114 to the west.

The layout features Ponderos pine and Oak tree lined fairways on mountainous terrain with impressive changes in elevation. There's water hazards and sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the greens with the holes bordered by tall fescue-like native grasses. The front 9 is more open, links style through meadows while the back is over hilly terrain with elevation changes of 600 feet. It's a scenic setting with views throughout the round of the Pikes Peak, Raspberry Butte, Devil's Head, Dawson Butte, Larkspur Butte and the Continental Divide. It's a long course at 7,726 yards, 74.8/141, course/slope ratings from the back tees with five shorter tees. The course was designed by PGA Members Corey Aurand, Stuart Bruening, Dennis Hogan, and Brian Whitcomb, and is home to the Colorado Section of the Professional Golfer's Association of America.
