Brickshire is located midway between Williamsburg and Richmond off I-64 at exit 214.

The layout is a parkland design with varying degrees of elevation change providing a collection of unique holes. It's mostly wide open off the tee along fairways defined by old growth, hardwood trees with several water hazards in addition to sand traps littering the fairways and greens. The main feature here is replica holes from St. Andrews, Augusta National, Pinehurst #2, and Riviera CC. It's an Ault Clark/Curtis Strange design through a residential development that plays to 7,291 yards from the back tees, 75.0/142, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
