The Hideout is ion the south side of Lake Brownwood a few miles south of the city.

The golf course is an interesting and diverse, layout with each hole isolated and unique ambling over rolling hills along tree lined fairways with doglegs, multiple water hazards, blind shots, and a modest amount of sand bunkers. It can play to 6,981 yards from the tips, 74.1/139, course/slope ratings, the white tees are 6,091 yards, 70.2/131, designed by by Bill Johnston in 2008.
