The Idaho Club is on the north side of Lake Pend Oreville within an upscale, residential community in Sandpoint.

This target layout is a challenging test from virtually any tee box as it tracks over a series of elevation changes finally settling down on level terrain on the closing series of holes. There's an abundance of sand in play, wetlands and ponds from the adjoining Lower Pack River throughout, and many forced carries to span. There's four sets of tees overall from 5,130 yards to 7,089 yards, 74.6/148 course/slope ratings off the back tees, designed by Jack Nicklaus.
