The Links of North Dakota is located in northwest North Dakota near Williston on bluffs overlooking Lake Sakakawea.

A links course by definition is built on sandy soil that drains well providing hard and fast running fairways and greens with uneven lies throughout and the Links of North Dakota fulfills the definition. There are no trees in play here but there is tall fescue rough and hidden sand bunkers which grab even the well played shot with the wind always a factor, even on the greens. It can play to 7,092 yards and 128 slope from the championship tees with the middle tees 6,242 yards, 71.3/119, course/slope ratings, designed by Stephen Kay.
