The Lynx Golf Course is on the north side of the Kalamazoo River, southeast of Allegan, 20 minutes northwest of Kalamazoo.

The golf course is a parkland design carved through the forest over a large, natural tract of land. The routing has significant elevation change with both nines starting at 90+ feet above the River valley as it moves along generally narrow, tree-lined fairways with water hazards potentially on eight holes, sand bunkers defending the landing zones and greens, and several holes directly along the River. There are four sets of tees; the tips play to 6,471 yards, 72.1/141, course/slope ratings, designed by Charlie and Jon Scott in the late 1990s
