The Monster is part of the Resorts World Casino located just east of Monticello off NY 17 in the Catskills.

The present layout is a combination of the former Concord Monster and the International courses. It's routed over a massive tract of forested and hilly terrain along numerous lakes, wetlands, and streams with a generous amount of sand bunkers. The layout is a full 7,650 yards off the tips with 6 tee boxes down to 5,250 yards, and was originally designed by Joe Finger with a renovation by Rees Jones.
