The Oakland Golf Club is on the northwest side of Oakland on the east bank of Logan Creek.

The layout's fairways are defined by trees and generally straightforward save for numerous doglegs including two doubles. It's over slightly undulating terrain with a sprinkling of sand bunkers and streams and ponds impacting play on the majority of the holes. There's five sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,781 yards, 73.3/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Jim White.
