The Oaks is off I-94 a few miles east of Madison just off the County Rd N exit bordering the Interstate on the north side.

The layout features broad fairways bordered by scattered oaks and evergreen trees with a generous amount and variety of sand traps along the fairways and guarding the greens. There's some change in elevation with most holes isolated and unique as it moves along Koshkonong Creek. The course was designed by Greg Martin with five sets of tees, the middle tees are 6,011 yards, 69.2/126, course/slope ratings.
